My first solo trip on a plane at the age of 18 to San Francisco, California … and have been traveling ever since.

The majority of Asian and Middle East International carriers … Korean, JAL, Qatar. Southwest for Domestic flights within the USA.

Hawaiian shirt, linen shorts, baseball cap, and flip flops for short trips and warm countries. T-Shirt, linen pants, Nike Air shoes, a destination appropriate weather-proof jacket, and a baseball cap when traveling everywhere else.

iPhone, bluetooth speakers and headphones, tablet/laptop, camera, Camelpack backpack.

Split between USA and the Philippines. I absolutely love the diversity each has to offer in terms of landscape, cuisine, people, the sights, the multifaceted culture.

- AirBnb – I like the feeling of being in a foreign city and having the impression that I’m one of the locals.

- Lost luggage on way too many flights.

Staying within budget … especially when presented with so many good deals in comparison to the USA … but when you are on a budget of $50 a day … it’s still expensive
17. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT
Getting a full-body pat-down at airport security.
18. WTF MOMENT
Stuck in the Philippines unable to leave the country because I could not come up with $15 USD in pesos to pay a fee to the leave the country. Amazed to discover that the primary international airport in Manila does not accept credit cards at the airport for a fee that is required to leave the country. I was unable to access my funds from any of the ATMs in the airport using the very same cards that I used ALL month while traveling throughout the country. Crazy!
19. BEST TRAVEL ACTIVITY(S)
Trekking, exploring islands on a scooter, water-activities, relaxing at the beach sipping a cold coconut while reading books.
